AQUA GIRL Review

Where can you find thousands of hot steamy lesbians, all in bikini’s, shaking it pool side, for 3 straight days, Bacardi as a top sponsor, and Miami as your backdrop??  If you have been a closeted lesbian, you’re probably thinking this sounds to good to be true.  Well think again.  It’s not only amazingly true, it’s a successful event that has been taking place once a year in beautiful South Beach Florida!!  It is called AQUA GIRL!

AQUA GIRL is the largest lesbian gathering of it’s kind that boasts thousands of women from the four corners of the country.

In its 12th year, AQUA GIRL promises to be a weekend to remember. Members from A Les Forum have attended the events and we cannot say enough. There is something for everyone; comedy shows, live entertainment, VIP cocktail receptions, fine dining, dance, traffic jams, brunches,l latin flavor dancing, acqualicious tea dances, bowling (new this year) and the ever popular main event, the aqua beach pool party! (Not too be missed!)

AQUA GIRL is such a great cause, that 100% of the proceeds from Aqua Girl benefit the Aqua Foundation for Women, a not-for-profit-foundation whose primary mission is to serve as a funding catalyst for lesbian, bisexual, and transgender wellness and equality in South Florida through grants, scholarships, and initiatives. Funds that are raised during this signature week, as well as, through individual and corporate donations, go directly to uplift, empower, and educate the lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women’s communities throughout Florida.

The Aqua Foundation for Women has awarded out over $360,000 in grants and scholarships while motivating hundreds of women to be engaged in the lesbian community. And, your contributions for the event, may even be tax deductible!

This year the event takes place from May 11-15, 2011, about a month away, so don’t wait any longer! The official AQUA GIRL host hotel is the Doubletree Surfcomber Resort, located 1717 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida.  Book early to assure your stay.
